Aquarium Sundays

The gorgeous lagoon jelly
Long are the days that I can do my business uninterrupted. Sunday morning was no exception. Kasen barged in and begged me to go to the Aquarium that morning - I looked at my phone, it was 9am. We had to be at my brother's house for lunch at noon. We decided to go for it. Ken didn't think we'd be able to do the aquarium so quickly but once we left to head over to Arlington he was surprised that he did. Really, all Kasen wants to see are the penguins and the fish, sharks, and turtles in the giant tank in the middle of the aquarium. He doesn't care for any of the exhibits. Easy peasy. He was pretty thrilled for the rest of the day. The aquarium membership has been a Godsend - we've more than offset the cost of it by the number of times we've gone. In the last three years that I've purchased it this year it's been the most worth it given K's love of animals. We have the patron level membership - gotta use those IMAX tickets at some point! We also have a membership to the Franklin Park Zoo and that's up for renewal soon - not sure if we will get it again or not, hum. But the reciprocity list of other zoos and aquariums within the US, most at discounts is a nice perk.

A new pufferfish species ;)

A crab anemone hybrid!?
