Go-To Baby Shower Gifts

With my friends having their first babies left and right (alas we were one of the first!) I thought it might be fun to outline my go-to baby shower gifts.

1. 4Moms Cleanwater Collection Infant Tub

I love this tub. We used this from birth to about 8 months.  I noticed that most tubs collected the dirty water and it was a pain to pull baby out again, dump out the dirty water, and wait for the water to heat up before putting baby back again. You'll never have to do that with the Cleanwater tub. The clean water collects in the small pool in the front and the dirty water flows out from small slits on the sides. Genius. Oh, and the digital thermometer is pretty cool. It tells you when the water is too cold/just right/too hot. This was a life changing gadget, so much so that we've given this to all of our friends as a shower gift who have had babies since Kasen was born.

Sherpa Stroller Blanket

2. Pottery Barn Kids Sherpa Stroller Blanket

This has been Kasen's favorite blanket since he fell in love with it around 6 months. We have five of these. Yes, five. Because you need back up for the back up for the back up for the back up! Can't not have one, else we'll be in the midst of a major meltdown. No thanks. Really one of the softest, cuddly blankets there is. Great for the stroller, for sleeping, for cuddling, for comfort. Kasen brings this everywhere with him.
3. Orla Kiely by aden + anais for Target Bibs

How could anyone not love Orla Kiely? I love collaborations and Orla Kiely's collab with Target has always been one of my favorites - I have several of her colorful mugs. She recently did a collab with aden + anais and Target to put out these super cute unisex bibs. Best bibs ever. They're super soft!

4. Aden & Anais 4-Pack Swaddling Cloths

We're huge fans of Aden & Anais, and not just because Kasen was a model for their merino wool sleeping bags:) The jungle jam pack featured above became all the rage when Duchess Kate swaddled days old George in it!

5. Name Puzzle Stool

Honestly, how cute is this little stool? And it's educational as the little ones will learn how to spell their names. I'm a big fan of gifts that will grow and this is one that will be a staple for several years. I like Pottery Barn Kids' double step stool as well!
