Such a Chatterbox.

Seriously. I am floored as to how Kasen has been progressing speech wise. Since he loves animals so much of course most of his words are centered around animals. Mah Mah (horse) and Fu Fu (tiger) are the two animal words he says the most now. He calls Cows Moooo and can correctly identify and say the names of the aforementioned animals along with Ahp Ahp (duck), Jeck Joi (bird), Chicken (gai gai), Pig (jee jee), Fish (Fisssshhh), Gau Gau (dog) and a number of others. When you ask him how a snake goes he will say "Hissssss." Awesome! He still can't seem to find the words for Sheep/Goat and Cat. But he can identify them when you ask him and also knows what Frog and Monkey is if we ask him in Cantonese (tien guy and ma lau). He also has been saying Sahm Sahm (close), Car Car (for any vehicle really, but mostly cars and trains), Sau Sau (it means hands, but it's really when he wants to wash hands - he'll hold out his hands to you and say Sau Sau). When he's full and done eating he will say he is Bao Bao (full), ask for water (sui sui), and recently started to call Robots "Bot." And he also says Go! And No! Alot actually, and has been saying it more often in the last few days although he started saying it maybe 2 weeks ago. Awesome. I'm going to be getting alot of No's from now on...from when he doesn't want a certain food, drink, show, toy...grrrr.

Really, what a funny kid. He is so independent and communicative. He also loves to wash himself. As he knows all his body parts really well he will take a wash cloth with the body wash and direct it to where you think he should wash it - so Gyeck Gyeck (feet), Ooh Ooh (stomach), Sau Sau (hands), Mien Mien (face), and Doo Doo (privates) all get nice and clean! He also is a jokester - reminds me of his dad. He's always trying to make people laugh by spitting water, sticking his tongue out and making raspberries, or making farting noises. Oh yeah, that. One day he decided to imitate us - so everytime when someone asks him how does so and so "fong pay" (fart) he'll make the noise with his lips. Learning very useful things!
