For the last two months Kasen will most often tells me has to "or niu niu" - which means "pee" in Cantonese while he is in the shower - he will stand up and go in a cup. Now, he's actually begun to tell me that he wants to go on the toilet - this is usually before showering or after his shower, or when his diaper is off.
Now that he understands that going in the small (his little baby bjorn potty) or big toilet automatically means a chocolate egg surprise, he's been more inclined to go. I'm loving it. Now only to work on the pooping. I've got the Play Doh Meal Makin' toy sitting up on the shelf so he can see it, and told him that that's his prize for pooping in the toilet but no luck just yet. Still, not so bad in that we've made meaningful progress! Booyah!
