Fried Chicken!

Since day one Kasen hasn't really enjoyed meat. He has always been a veggies and fruits kind of guy, prompting his Dad to just declare that Kasen was a vegetarian. However, that doesn't stop us from trying to get him to enjoy meats.

Market Basket  in my view has the best fried chicken. Better than KFC and Popeyes even. It's tasty, crunchy, flavorful, moist, and still yummy the next day while its brethren have similar properties but the next day taste something like cardboard. There aren't many Market Baskets where we live, so whenever we go to visit my parents in NH I attack the Market Basket there. Anyway, long story short part of our loot was a hot batch of freshly fried chicken from Market Basket's Kitchen. We were so very excited, licking our lips to experience the yumminess that is fried chicken, and decided Kasen needed to experience too.

Much to our surprise Kasen enjoyed it. While he didn't always swallow it, he did bite it and attempt to chew it and if he couldn't macerate it small enough he would just spit it out. Fine by me! It was important to me that he learned how to be a foodie. After all, his mommy and daddy are ones:)
