Neurons Firing Like Crazy

Lately, Kasen in particular has been moving non-stop. He is constantly on the go, examining something, grabbing something from one side of the house and running to the other side. Sometimes he pulls himself and runs away so fast that I can't catch him!

His motor skills and problem-solving skills are exceptional. To our surprise he lately has been doing the following:

COPY CAT: Taking our watering can and watering the plants like Daddy. He has a baby watering can that he also uses to water the plants.

RESOURCEFUL: In order to turn himself around he takes his little feet to go in a full circle, turning on his bottom. Haha!

ASKS FOR HELP: Often, Kasen will find something that he wants to eat but he can't open it. He will hand it to me or someone else to help him open it so that he can pick out a snack. This typically happens with a little tupperware of his puffs, cheerios, or animal cookies.

PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: The 6 pack of toilet paper was too big for him to carry - so he found a little hole in the package and dragged it with him! His milk bottle was on top, but at the end of the book on our nightstand, but too far for him to reach. To my surprise, he pulled the book closer to him to grab his bottle!

GREAT MEMORY....OR MAYBE IT'S DETERMINATION? He remembers. At grandma's (por por!) house in NH, Kasen would direct me to a cabinet. I allowed him to open it, but I would not allow him to take anything out of it. Fast forward a minute later, his grandpa (gong gong!) picked him up, of which Kasen led him back to the same cabinet. He opened the cabinet again and took a toy out of it. I'm amazed at his memory and sheer determination.
