So when Boden sent its sample sale email today I was ecstatic. Let's hope I score some great deals on Kasen's future wardrobe!
Update: it was crazy there! The credit card line was insane, and if you had cash there was alas, no one in it. Having done my homework on other bloggers that attended these sales, I did bring cash with me. But by the time I was done, the line was so short that I didn't need to wait! Score!
What I did realize is that the customer make-up is two-fold - customers looking for larger women's clothing or customers looking primarily for children's clothes. By the time I got there (it started at 10am and I got there at 1pm) the children's table had almost nothing left but a few unwanted items. So I strategically grabbed a bag, and went from pile after pile of discarded items and scored a large array of children's clothes. It took me about an hour to find everything, but I was incredibly efficient - if it looked like kids clothes, I stuffed it in my bag to sort through later. When I went to pay, the cashier was impressed at how much kids clothes I scored for so late in the day. I basically told her - nothing can get in the way of a Asian lady in search for a bargain!
All of the clothes I got for Kasen ranged from 2Y to 5Y. I got shorts, shirts, pjs', pants, and a winter puffer vest. I even got a cute baby outfit for my nephew Jayden (it was size 3-6 months so it would fit him perfectly!) in Hong Kong. Love that I got a bargain!
