For the long weekend we headed up to Bayside, New York to visit some of our best friends, and spent that Saturday at White Post Farms Animal Farm and Petting Zoo feeding birds, goats, cows, sheep, zebras, rams, and camels. We even rode a train! Needless to say the kids had a blast. And honestly, what a brilliant business model - we pay to feed the animals! It cost us a pretty $55 for admission plus food (a pail with ice cream cones filled with animal feed and a bottle of milk) and a train and pony ride, but it was worth it. The birds flying to eat your bird seed on a stick and the camels devouring the ice cream cones was probably the coolest experience. And I never thought I'd see the day that Kasen would get on a pony!
