On Black Friday we were all sitting around early that morning having breakfast with the entire family, when my dad brings Kasen over and sits down with Kasen's cheek against his. I said to Kasen - hello little honey! Why don't you give Grandpa a wet kiss!? And to my surprise he turns his face, opens his mouth and "kisses" his Grandpa's cheek! Not believing it and thinking it's a fluke, I asked him to do it again. Twice this time. And all three times he did the same thing - turn towards Grandpa's cheek and gives him a kiss!
We couldn't believe it. He isn't even 4 and a half months old yet and this was completely unexpected. My entire extended family was sooo excited. So we proceeded to have him give everyone in the room a "wet kiss." It was incredible. It wasn't "Mommy" or "Daddy" or "po po" (this means "carry" in Cantonese), but "kiss" that was Kasen's first comprehensible word!!!
I am honestly amazed everyday. And Friday was an affirmation that he is absorbing everything around him and constantly learning. So fun!
