Last night was amazing. Again, the usual bedtime ritual, then putting him down drowsy but awake. He surprised me again by not making a peep and just rolling over and clutching his blanket! I think he's figured it out. It's not a fluke!
While Kasen woke up twice last night, both times when we we heard him stir we just pulled his blanket up to where he could hold it with both hands, turn on the music from his electronic book Goodnight Scout, and I didn't hear a peep from him until this morning at 7:15am. In this case I don't mind him waking up, because I'm confident now that he can sleep soundly and comfortably on his own, and he doesn't need a bottle - but maybe just needs his blanket replaced (of which we have figured out he absolutely loves). I know when he's sleepy or wants to sleep now when he grabs his blanket and rubs his face with it.
